Wasteway #7 Pump Upgrade

Wasteway #7 pump and intake structure upgrade:  Wasteway #7 Reregulation reservoir is located approximately one half mile upstream of the end of the main canal. There is a 10-acre-foot regulation reservoir there with a single variable speed turbine pump.

Given the changes in on farm irrigation demands this pump is undersized and not able to reduce waste on the spillway as originally designed. This winter the intake structure will be redesigned and a second variable speed 25hp, 6.5cfs turbine pump will be added.
