The Roza District is located in the Yakima Valley in eastern Washington and currently provides irrigation water to 72,000 acres.
The Yakima Valley is the most diversified agricultural project in the world, and also one of the most productive. The title of "Fruit Bowl of the Nation" is certainly appropriate. The Roza District is a significant part of the United States Bureau of Reclamation's Yakima Project and well deserving of the pride of ownership with which it is held by its constituents. The Board and Management of the Roza Irrigation District are dedicated to providing the highest level of service at a reasonable cost to its farm operators. We continue to work diligently at securing additional storage and the settling of all water rights issues. We have also adopted an extensive long term project rehabilitation plan, that is designed to attain the highest state of the art in irrigation operations, while maintaining a reasonable and cost effective assessment rate. The Roza staff is here to serve you, the water users, and urge you to contact us at any time that we may be of service.
